Laser Therapy

BioFlex Low Intensity Laser

It sounds too good to be true, a painless, effective treatment for everything from herniated discs and knee pain to diabetic ulcers and burns.

Patients come in to the clinic where a therapist applies a small pad which emits low intensity laser light at the site the doctor wants to treat. Particles of energy called photons are absorbed by a variety of micro-molecules within the cell, a process which initiates a number of positive physiological responses.

“I’ve treated osteoarthritis, gout, acne, tendonitis, even stretch marks,” says Dr. Sheri Walker, a laser therapist at Corner Chiropractic. “People are always remarking over the amazing results. They feel less pain, have better quality sleep and move easier,” she says.

Conditions like arthritis and back pain respond really well to Chiropractic care and laser therapy in combination.

It’s the long term cumulative effects which are truly amazing. Studies have shown the laser treatments enhance the body’s natural healing processes by stimulating the immune system, improving lymphatic drainage and increasing the production of human growth hormone. Best of all, the treatments are covered by most insurance plans.
